A little about me
I have always been drawn to stories — the ones we live, the ones we remember, and the meaning we make of them. After retiring from full-time work, I finally had the time and space to pursue a long-held dream: to write and share some of my own.
Rukmani’s Journey is where those different strands of my life come together — personal reflections, memories and stories from my life, and my continuing journey with A Course in Miracles.
What you’ll find here
My writing moves between the everyday and the reflective — memories of people and places, observations about life as I experience it, and the stories that stay with me. Some pieces are simply reminiscences; others begin with something small and lead me somewhere I hadn’t expected.
A Course in Miracles has also been part of my life for many years, and I write about my experiences with the Course — not as a teacher, but as a student still learning, questioning and finding my way.
Together, these are the threads that make up Rukmani’s Journey.
How the journey began
This website grew from that long-held wish to write. I taught myself how to build a website and began publishing the stories, memories and reflections that had been waiting to be written.
Along the way, another website grew from my interest in A Course in Miracles, giving me a place to write about the Course and what it meant in my own life.
Eventually, it made sense to bring the two together. Rukmani’s Journey is the result — one home for my writing, wherever the journey happens to take me next.
